Gloria Stearns is always on the go as the Placer County Economic Development and Housing Director. Partners, collaborators and innovators continue to keep Placer County exciting! 

The Economic Development team recruits large businesses to the area (Bosch, Carvana, Procter & Gamble) and helps Placer businesses grow. The Placer Business Resource Center (BRC) assists small businesses at no cost. The Placer Tahoe Film Office is part of Economic Development; with a nickname of "Hollywood North" it's known as a great location for commercials and independent films. The new and energized Housing team is creating programs to facilitate workforce housing. At the December 5th meeting, Gloria will share data and stories that paint a picture of Placer County's commitment to Get Growth Right. You will hear about expanded partnerships and collaborations that are shaping the exciting future of the region!
